What Exactly is Executive Function?

Executive function refers to the cognitive processes that help us plan, focus attention, remember instructions, juggle multiple tasks, and regulate our emotions. These mental skills are crucial for organizing and acting on information, self-regulation, and goal-directed behavior.

How Does Emotional Regulation Impact Executive Function?

Emotional dysregulation can significantly impair executive function. When we experience emotions like anxiety, frustration, or overwhelm, our brain's prefrontal cortex (responsible for executive functions) becomes less effective. There are also subtle emotional blockers that arise that you may not even currently recognize.This is why you might find it difficult to focus, make decisions, or initiate tasks.

Is this program only for people with ADHD or executive function disorders?

No. While this program is beneficial for individuals with diagnosed executive function challenges, it's designed for anyone who experiences emotional barriers to productivity, focus, and follow-through. Many neurotypical individuals struggle with the emotion-executive function connection without realizing it.

How do I know if this program is right for me?

What If I Miss a Session?

All group sessions are recorded and made available within 24 hours. While live participation is highly encouraged for the interactive elements, you'll never miss any content. We also provide a session summary with key takeaways.

How large are the groups?

To ensure quality interaction and personalized attention, we limit each cohort to 10 participants maximum.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, there are monthly payment plans for each tier: Group Only: $350/mo Group + VIP: $450/mo 1 on 1: $550/mo

How quickly will I see changes in my EF?

Like many things, your progress relies on you. You will have to put the skills and techniques we learn into practice in your daily lives. You'll reflect on your emotional state, recognize its impact on your executive function & implement the tools in your toolbox. At the end of the program, the goals is for you to have a comprehensive toolkit for managing the emotion-executive function connection.

Is there homework?

Rather than traditional homework, we provide "practice opportunities". These are short, focused activities designed to build your skills incrementally. These are practical applications that integrate into your daily life rather than adding a million things to your already hefty to do list.
